Breast Ultrasound

A breast ultrasound is a type of imaging test to evaluate breast tissue.

It can help your healthcare provider find breast problems.

This test is often used when a change has been seen on a mammogram or when a change is felt in the breast.

The Ultrasound Centre offers breast imaging for patients who are under 30 years of age with a palpable/non-suspicious lump.

Patients who require a full breast workup or are over the age of 30 must visit a specialized centre that also offers mammography as per Sask College of Physicians Guidelines.
